Our Testimonials

We recently engaged Niall to fit our new kitchen and found him to be thoroughly professional and very helpful. He always arrived on time and was very clean in his work. Delays in the delivery of the kitchen meant Niall had to be on site for far longer than originally intended but he undertook the extra work at no additional charge. We are delighted with the finished result and would definitely recommend Niall for any job, big or small.

Niall is a true gentleman, model professional and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone. I have recently refurbished my home from top to bottom and Niall was a fantastic help with advice and ideas. The quality of his work is excellent, I had quite an unusual idea to place a glass partition on top of my stairs, encased in oak, to maximise sunlight and Niall was a great help with suggestions and brilliant ideas. My only regret was that I did not meet Niall sooner as I would have given him the entire job of refurbishing my home, kitchen and wardrobes. I have already booked him to convert my attic and he is the only craftsman whose services I will avail of from now on.
Niall is honest, hardworking, extremely trustworthy, and courteous and I would recommend him without hesitation. Niall went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions during the course of his work in my home, working within my schedule (I work long hours and study three nights a week), helping me with other aspects in the refurbishment of my home and he cleans up thoroughly after himself which trust me was non existent amongst any other tradesman I had working in my home.
It is a delight to work with Niall and I am so glad to have found such a professional, honest craftsman. He is a true professional and he takes great pride in his work and it shows. Niall's philosophy is 'I'm not happy with the work unless you are' and it's not just a saying he genuinely means it. I would recommend Niall, without hesitation to anyone; in fact two of my friends have already booked him as a result of seeing his work in my home.

Niall designed, built and fitted a floor to ceiling unit in our living room. His quote was very competitive. He also spent a considerable amount of time discussing the design with us to make sure it met our brief. We were absolutely delighted with the finished job and would have no hesitation in recommending Niall to anybody looking to get similar work done.

Niall was great and didn’t charge me as the job was so small; a donation to his favourite charity was all he wanted by way of payment. We have taken his card and will definitely call him for any future carpentry needs that may arise; I was delighted with the service I received

We used Teach Mór Carpentry to install some bespoke panels and shelves for the storage of sails and masts at our sailing club. Not only did Niall assist in the design process, he also came up with some great ideas that cut our overall costs. The customer service was exemplary and the attention to detail and finishes top class. I would recommend Teach Mór Carpentry to all

I engaged the services of Teach Mór carpentry/Niall to replace all the internal doors in my house. In quoting me Niall was upfront and completely transparent in his costing of the project and gave me plenty of help and advice to keep my material costs down – as I was sourcing my own materials.
While working in my house Niall was always on time and his work area was kept exceptionally clean and tidy. Due to the condition of the existing door frames the job was challenging and Niall proved very competent in working around the issues. Initially Niall’s quote seemed a little higher than others, however I believe that for the amount of work done and flexibility Niall showed I ended up with great value for money.
I would recommend Niall to anyone looking for a carpenter/joiner

Niall recently completed the replacement of all the interior doors in our house, including frames and architraves. His initial quote was extremely competitive and the standard of his work throughout was superb, down to the finishing touches of replacing skirting boards and saddle boards that had to be removed during the installation. We were also hugely impressed with the cleanliness with which Niall carried out what is a normally an extremely messy job. He was constantly cleaning around him as he worked. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Niall to anyone that needs carpentry jobs of any size carried out.

Niall Kennedy of Teach Mór Carpentry provided a competitive quote to fit my new kitchen and remove the old one. Niall was available to start at the date that suited me and very flexible in his arrangements during the job itself including availability at weekends. Niall carried out all specified works to a high degree of finish as well as additional items that arose during the job including plumbing, electrics and wall skimming. Niall is a professional who takes pride in his work and won't accept cutting corners. I provided help only where 2 pairs of hands were required and enjoyed working with Niall, similarly I know he enjoyed putting our kitchen together as well.

We employed Niall to remedy a problem we had been left with, we employed someone previously to install Oak doors that we had supplied, the person who initially installed them left such a poor job that few of the doors would actually close. We had asked several Carpenters to tender for the reparations that would be needed and all seemed reluctant. Niall did not guarantee to remedy the problems but in the end his remedial work was done to such a standard as to provide a fantastic “like new” job, and saved us the expense of replacing doors for a second time, he managed to successfully deal with the problems that the previous “Carpenter” had left. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Niall to anyone looking for first class professional workmanship

‘We contacted Teach Mór as we needed built-in wardrobes to maximize the space we had available for storage. Niall made two site visits during which he made many practical suggestions as to the design we should choose. The price we were quoted was more competitive than others we had received, however most important for us was that after having our house renovated it was great to have a tradesman who arrived punctually, who didn’t cut corners and who took great pride in his work . I would highly recommend Niall.’ Liam, Clontarf.

Niall recently built some additional furniture for our offices, the furniture consisted of Cherry and Oak, all of the work was done to an exceptionally high standard and it is clear that Niall takes very great pride in his work and also his approach to customers. We would have no hesitation in recommending Teach Mór to anyone looking for a professional and courteous service
